ENDOVENOUS LASER

Why Advanced Laser Vein Care?

We begin your treatment with an accurate diagnosis. This includes a venous duplex ultrasound and a vascular surgeon'sexamination. Our new treatment may eliminate the need for incisions or drastically reduce incision size, providing a safer and speedier recovery.

Advantages of the Dornier 940 nm Laser Therapy

The unique 940 nm wavelength safely passes through skin and penetrates target vessel. The laser photon energy causes the vessel to collapse and seal. These vessels dissolve within the body becoming less visible or disappearing altogether. The 940 nm wavelength can safely treat delicate facial veins as well as larger leg veins.

Will it hurt?

Many patients experience little or no pain. Any discomfort will last only for a fraction of a second, and feels similar to pinch or a snapped rubber band. Most often, pretreatment skin cooling measure provide complete relief.

How long will it take to recover?

Therapeutic inflammatory response varies with the treatment needed and skin type, but you will be able to resume normal activity the next day.

Do I need to wear stockings?

Temporary compression stockings speed recovery and improve the cosmetic result of your treatment. These stockings are custom fitted and available at our office.
