I was referred to the Perez Surgical Medical Group , also doing business as Varicose Vein Surgeons, by Dr. Raul Pardave, my primary care physician, for consultation concerning phlebitis that had occurred in my right leg. I initially met with Dr. Richard Suh who discussed various options with me, including their new laser treatment of vein closure. Dr. Suh was excellent in reviewing the “pros and cons” of various treatments and indicated he thought my condition could be successfully treated with this less invasive procedure. I was also given some descriptive brochures which further explained the proposed procedure(s).

Dr. Suh was very professional in all his dealings with me and made me feel very comfortable about the medical procedures that he recommended. Thus, I decided to proceed with the laser procedure, which was scheduled for a morning appointment, toward the end of the week.

On the day of the procedure, my wife and I met with the “team” involved with the laser surgery and were made to feel both at ease and well informed about what was going to happen. At that time, Dr. Dario Perez was also involved and he further discussed the procedure with us and added to our sense of comfort about the whole situation.

The actual laser procedure/surgery went even better than I anticipated and I was kept comfortable and well informed throughout the surgery. The medical staff assisting Drs. Suh and Perez was excellent and very caring about my well being. The whole team greatly helped to quell the normal anxiety that accompanies such medical events. My initial recovery from the actual procedure took several days and the condition of my veins is still being monitored by Dr. Suh. It is possible that I may still need some follow-up surgery for actual vein removal, but the veins in question have been significantly reduced in size and the procedure was definitely successful.

In summary, I continue to be very pleased with my experience with the Perez Surgical Medical Group and highly recommend them to anyone needing similar medical treatment.
