Dr. Dario Perez is the Founder of Varicose Vein Surgeons. For over 25 years he has specialized in general surgery. He is committed to Excellence and dedicated to patient care.

He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma of Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Perez served his internship and residency in general surgery at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. He is a past Chief of Staff and member of the Board of Directors for Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center.

Throughout his career he has implemented change in the medical field which has directly impacted the way medicine is practiced in the Glendale area. He is a patient advocate and always demands perfection.

Dr. Perez’s initial training included vein ligation and stripping and phlebectomies. During his career, he has been actively involved in the advances in varicose vein treatments. He has performed minimally invasive vein surgery, such as endovenous closure of the saphenous system (VNUS) and now frequently performs endovenous laser ablation for varicose veins, sclerotherapy with foam injection and contact laser for spider veins. As an experienced vein disorders doctor, he provides excellent varicose vein solutions.

Jose M. Perez, MD

Began his medical education at the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara completing it at New York Medical College. He then completed his training in General Surgery at Stamford Hospital / Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Perez is a General Surgeon, who has a special interest in all aspects of venous disease and its complications. Dr. Perez offers comprehensive venous treatments such as EVLT, Foam Sclerotherapy, Contact Sclerotherapy, and microphlebectomies. All treatments are tailored to each patient needs after a complete evaluation has been perform. His goal is provide the best care and results to all his patients.

Lived in Southern California most of his life 25 years doing vascular ultrasound and has evolved with the new technology. He has worked closely with Dr. Perez for over 7 years.
